We George Forrest by Divine permission Bishop of Bristol, send Greeting.
Know ye that on the day of the date hereof Maxwell Homfray Smith Clerk BA personally appearing before us to be admitted and instituted to the Vicarage of Colerne in the County of Wilts

Given under our hand and seal, the sixteenth day of August on the Year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and ninety eight and in the first year of our translation.
