Trinidad - In the Supreme Civil Court. No. 1064
The humble petition of Josiah William Dornford Gumbleton (commonly called Josiah William Gumbleton, and sometimes called Josiah Gumbleton), of house No 27, Woodford-street, in the town of Port of Spain, in the Island of Trinidad, formerly a Shopkeeper residing in house No.1, Brunswick-square, and carrying on therein the business of a Milliner and Haberdasher, and Dealing in the purchase and sale of Dry Goods generally, under the name, firm or style of Gumbleton late Steele, from before the 1st day of October, 1867, up to the 15th day of January, 1869, and from thence residing in the said house No. 27, Woodford-street, up to the time of filing this his Petition of Insolvency, without employment. Public notice is hereby given, that by an Order of this Honourable Court made in the above matter on this day, Josiah William Dornford Gumbleton (commonly called Josiah William Gumbleton, and sometimes called Josiah Gumbleton), was adjudged an insolvent, and that the schedule required by the Ordinance for giving relief to Insolvent Debtors has been duly filed in my office by the said insolvent, and that the said insolvent will be brought up to appear before this Honourable Court, at the Court House, in the town of Port of Spain, in the said Island, on Wednesday, the 20th day of April now next ensuing, then and there to be dealt with according to the provisions of the Ordinance for giving relief to Insolvent Debtors. - Dated this 20th day of October, 1869.
