Private papers, letters and diaries: Sir Antony Abdy, Lincoln's Inn, to Hartington, 1755
Sir Antony Abdy, Lincoln's Inn, to Hartington, about the value of the Blackwater fishery.
He has searched the evidence room at Burlington House for information about this. Mr Ellis reported 'old Mr Gumbleton' as valuing it at £90 a year; Ellis now thinks it worth £100 a year. Abdy reports that Lord Cavendish and Hartington's other children are well.
