| In 1680 he witnessed the will of his father-in-law, William Burt, husbandman of Chettle. In 1682 William Burt died, leaving £20 to his daughter Mary Gumbleton.
Henry's will mentiones William Burt the son of Henry's brother-in-law Charles Burt, recently deceased. Charles Burt was born in 1649 and died in 1712 in Chettle.
