In the name of God Amen I Jonathan Gombleton of the city of New Sarum in the County of Wilts Innholder Recommending my Soule to Almighty God my merciful Creator and redeemer Doe make this my last will and testament revoking all others.

Also I give to my son Jonathan five shillings, And to my daughter Mary Dilkes five shillings,

Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Sarah Lomley twenty pounds to be paid within six months after my decease,

Item In case my Grandson Samuel Dilkes attaines his age of one & twenty years I give to him the summe of twenty pounds, but in case he dye before that age then I give the said Sum of twenty pounds unto my said son and daughter Jonathan and Mary equally between them. and doe desire and order my loving wife to maintain and bring up my said Grandson Samuell Dilkes with my said personal estate until he be fit to goe an apprentice.

item I give devise and bequeath unto my loving wife Susan my house in New Street in Sarum aforesaid during her natural life, And doe give devise and bequeath my said house with with the appurtenances from the decease of my said wife unto my son Francis and the heirs of his body lawfully issuing for ever, and for default of such issue to my said son Jonathan and his heirs for ever.

Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Susan forty pounds within six moths after she shall attain her age of one and twenty years or be married And to my daughter Elizabeth forty pounds in case she live six months after her attainment to the age of one and twenty years or marriage And to my son Francis forty pounds in case He attain his age of one and twenty years, but in case either of my daughters Susan & Elizabeth dye before attainment to their said respective ages before marriage, or if my said son Francis happen to dye before attaining to his said age, then I give the forty pounds before mentioned to be given to each of them, unto the survivors of them equally as shall attain the said age, and in case only one of them attaine that age Then to that one.

All the rest and residue of my personal estate I give to my said wife Susan and make her full executrix of this my last will ll and testament and residuary legatee upon condition that within six months after my decease my said wife with security becomes bound by bond of A reasonable penalty unto my two friends Mr Joseph Mede and Mr John Coomes to pay and discharge my said Legacies at such times and in such manner as I have herein before given bequeathed and appointed And I doe desire my said friends Joseph Mede and John Coomes to aid and assist my said executrix and advise her in the execution hereof In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand And seale the twenty sixth day of July in the first year of the reign of Queen Anne over England etc Anno Domini 1702.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Jonathan Gombleton to be his last will and testament. In the presence of us who subscribed the same in presence of the said Jonathan Gombleton and of each other of us.
