GUMBLETON — PROCTOR.

A quiet though pretty wedding, was celebrated at St John's Presbyterian Church, on Saturday evening last, when the Rev J. C. McDonald united in the bonds of matrimony, Mr Robert Gumbleton, manager of the Orange Commonwealth Shoe Company, and Miss Alice Livorna Proctor, daughter of Mr and Mrs Proctor, of "Bloomfield," Gulgong. The bride, who was given away by Mr Harry Henden, J.P., was attired in a becoming gown of white silk, trimmed with point lace, and she wore a pretty white Tagel hat with lancer plume and white violets. Miss Mayo acted as bridesmaid. At the conclusion of the ceremony the wedding party adjourned to the Carrington Club Hotel, where the wedding breakfast was partaken of, and the usual toasts appropriate to the occasion were proposed and honored.
