To the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Blandford Forum in the said County of Dorsett to convey and to the Church wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Milton Abbas in the County aforesaid to receive.

Whereas Complaint hath been made by you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Blandford Forum unto Us whose Hands and Seals are hereunto set, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace (whereof one is of the Quorum,) for the County aforesaid, That Mary Gumbleton single woman hath lately intruded herself into your said Parish of Blandford Forum there to inhabit as a Paritioner contrary to the Laws relating to the Settlement of the Poor, and is there likely to become chargeable, to the said Parish of Blandford Forum, And whereas upon due Examination and Enquiry made into the Premises and upon the oath of the said Mary Gumbleton it appears unto us, and we accordingly adjudge, That the said Mary Gumbleton is likely to become chargeable unto the said Parish of Blandford Forum. Settlement of the said Mary Gumbleton was, and is in the Parish of Milton Abbas aforesaid.

These are therefore in his Majesty's Name to order and require you the said Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Blandford Forum aforesaid, that you, or some of you, do forthwith remove and convey the said Mary Gumbleton form your said Parish of Blandford Forum to the said Parish of Milton Abbas and her deliver to the Church-wardens oand Overseers of the Poor there, or some or one of them, together with this our Warrant or Order, or a true Copy hereof; whereby they are like wise required in his Majesty's Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case made, forthwith to receive the said Mary Gumbleton

into the said Parish and provide for her as their own Parishioner Given under our Hands and Seals, the Fifteenth Day of November in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Forty Nine.
