| Robert ("Bob") Gumbleton was a son of Willy Gumbleton and his wife Violet, nee Dyer. He was born on 22 Apr 1915 in the Bedwellty, Monmouthshire, Registration District. In 1938 he married Violet Fitch in the Fulham, Middlesex, Registration District. They went on to have two sons. He was a Burma Star veteran of World War II. The 1955 Electoral Register showed him living at 2, Elmstone Road, Fulham. He died in 2005 in the Chippenham, Wiltshire, Registration District. | ||
